Lugana San Vigilio is obtained from the vinification of Turbiana (or Trebbiano di Soave) grapes, a vine of ancient native origin of this area. The manual harvest takes place in advance of the full ripeness of the grapes and fermentation takes place in steel containers. The resulting wine is fresh and fragrant, slightly mineral.
Produced from the vinification of 100% Turbiana grapes harvested manually before they reach an advanced ripeness. The grapes undergo a soft pressing, the subsequent alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a low temperature by selected yeasts; generally malolactic fermentation is not carried out. In the winter months the wine is refined in contact with the fine lees (battonage) until January / February in steel tanks; in the months of March / April it is bottled and, after one or two months of bottle aging, it is put on sale.
