Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene “Col di Forno” DOCG Andreola
Col del Forno is a Valdobbiadene Docg with exclusive characteristics drawn from stratified soils of clays, sands, pebbles and conglomerates affected by karst phenomena, dating back to 100,000 years ago, before the last ice age. The 4 hectares of gentle slopes planted with vines around 200 meters above sea level are located at the eastern end of the Rive di Refrontolo appellation area. The area enjoys a microclimate and favorable temperature variations that enrich this Brut with balanced and elegant complexity.
It is obtained from 100% Glera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After the classic vinification processes, the sparkling process takes place according to the Charmat Method, through the refermentation in autoclave for 30-40 days, with an aging of about 3 months, before being marketed.
