It is no coincidence that the Cartizze hill represents the qualitative summit of Prosecco. It is in fact a wonderful place, always ventilated, whose exposures allow a perfect maturation of the glera. Those that derive from it are paradigmatic sparkling wines, fragrant and multifaceted. In one word: elegant. Summit of quality and synthesis of Valdobbiadene Docg, Cartizze di Andreola comes from the homonymous and exclusive area governed since 1969: a "golden pentagon" whose few hectares of vineyards have been selected for the perfect combination of mild microclimate and very ancient compounds composed of sandy layers, deposits of mineral salts, clays and formations testifying sea beds with a subtropical climate. Exclusive soils that possess the requisites to obtain sparkling wines of high lineage and great finesse.
It is produced exclusively from Glera grapes, harvested manually at the beginning of September. After a soft pressing, the wine ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 28 ° C for 11 days. Subsequently the wine is aged for 3 months in the bottle.
