Conti Zecca
For five centuries the Counts Zecca have lived in the lands of Leverano, in the heart of Salento. The land has always been listened to, understood and put to use by them, until they completed, in the early 1900s, the production cycle from the cultivation to the vinification of the grapes of their possessions, without ever altering the subtle balance of the place. The transition from the vineyard to the cellar was a natural consequence, followed on the farm still today with the same dedication. Over time, the identity of people and place has overlapped to fade into an intertwining of memory and nature. A harmonious correspondence made of passion and respect, kept with the calmness and discretion of those who are committed to doing things with care. This spirit permeates everything that is born in Leverano, such as the Conti Zecca wines, which by themselves tell a story of quality based on the native Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Bianca vines, as well as precious non-native varieties that are well suited to the territory. Salento. The four family estates, Cantalupi, Donna Marzia, Saraceno, Santo Stefano (for a total of 320 hectares), are facets of this unique feeling and give life to harmonious wines that many can enjoy.
